Jumbo Electronics appointed as exclusive distributor for Yota Devices in the GCC
DUBAI, December 11, 2013 – Jumbo Electronics – the flagship company of the Jumbo Group, a leading name in the field of consumer electronics, information technology, logistics, telecommunications, home appliances, office automation and entertainment in the region – has announced that it has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for Yota Devices for the GCC.

Yota Devices’ product portfolio comprises highly innovative and unique communication and connectivity devices that include YotaPhone, the world’s first dual-screen, always-on smartphone combining the power of a typical LCD with the effectiveness of an electronic paper display (EPD) screen, and YotaRuby, the company’s high-performing and beautifully designed multiband mobile router.
YotaPhone combines a smartphone and e-reader into one device. Its dual screen ensures users stay connected, without having to pick up or activate their phone. Vital notifications appear on the always-on display, and stay there for as long as they are needed. The electronic paper display also gives a longer lasting, more comfortable reading experience even in bright sunshine.
The always-on display also allows users to personalize their phone with images and information that are always available. From January 2014, Yota Devices will be made available to customers in the GCC region through the Jumbo network of retail stores as well as through Jumbo’s distribution partner network across the entire GCC region.
