Forbes Middle East recognises Vishesh Bhatia for business leadership across diverse industries in ‘Top Indian Leaders in the Arab World 2014’ ranking
Dubai, UAE – xx May 2014: Forbes Middle East has named Vishesh Bhatia, Chief Executive Officer at the Jumbo Group, among the top five Indian CEOs in the Arab World.
The Forbes Middle East ‘Top Indian Leaders in the Arab World - 2014’ ranking, encompassing the entire Arab region for the first time, recognises 170 Indian business owners, founders and C-level executives, including CEOs and CFOs based in the region. The leaders were honoured at a special awards gala held in Dubai.
Ranked at the fifth position within the list of 40 CEOs shortlisted by Forbes Middle East, Vishesh Bhatia was honoured for his long-standing career of 43 years, managing diverse industries such as electronics, engineering, technology and real estate. According to Forbes Middle East, Vishesh’s keen knowledge and exposure to the GCC and Middle East markets has made him a well-respected business leader in the region.

Vishesh was appointed CEO of Jumbo Electronics in August 2012. Jumbo’s business breadth covers distribution, retail, aftercare service, logistics, B2B enterprise solutions, manufacturing, engineering services, and a private label brand. The company has a presence in Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Erbil, in Northern Iraq. The Jumbo group is also a member of the World Economic Forum as a Global Growth Company.
A past President of The Electronics Group, Dubai, the trade body representing the wider interests of the industry, Vishesh was also awarded the accolade of Indian CEO of the Year in 2012 and as well as recognised in the Forbes Middle East Top 100 Indian Leaders in the UAE in 2013. Vishesh is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
