As part of its Leadership Pipeline Development from within the Leadership Enhancement Apprenticeship Program (LEAP), Jumbo Group has, consistently hired talented young Business Management Graduates from premier Indian business schools for over two decades. This year again, a batch of 12 MBA’s joined the organization continuing in the tradition of building what has become a covenanted cadre of professionals which consistently feeds into the Talent Pool of the Group. Drawn from various disciplines such as Sales & Marketing, Strategy, Business Analytics, Operations, Finance & HR, most of them have an engineering degree and are therefore technology savvy with a strong analytical bent/inclination. After a rather intense selection process, they go through a rigorous Training which not only provides them deep understanding and exposure to various Businesses of the Group but allows them an even deeper engagement in specific cross – functional Projects with clear deliverables. Each member of the batch is assigned a mentor and a buddy. Periodic reviews with Leadership are conducted to ensure timely and regular feedback. With numerous LEAP alumni of previous years currently holding leadership roles at Jumbo, this program has been a resounding success.
