One of 52 participants in the DED Consumer Fairness Index (CFI) report, Jumbo emerges as the only ‘power retailer’ to win the title of ‘Consumer Friendly Retail Outlet’ in Dubai
Dubai, UAE – 30 April 2015: Jumbo Electronics, the UAE’s leading IT, telecom and consumer electronics retailer and distributor, has been recognised at the prestigious Consumer Fairness Index (CFI) awards 2014 by the Department of Economic Development. One of 52 participants in the CFI Index, Jumbo Electronics was the only power retailer in the consumer electronics sector to win the title of ‘Consumer Friendly Retail Outlet’.
Launched in 2012, CFI is an initiative to promote service excellence, competitiveness and cordial relations between consumers and retailers in Dubai. The Index measures important key performance indicators across retail categories, taking in to account consumers’ feedback about the services, prices, value for money, after sales services, clarity of information provided and overall experience. In line with these parameters, Jumbo was accorded a high score of 79 points in the CFI Index.
The award was presented to Jumbo by His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai International Marine Club.
